Co-op Training Intensives:
Worcester Roots offers individually customized intensive training. We hone in on the developmental needs of your co-op, covering similar topics from the Co-op Academy, going more in depth in certain areas, such as the following:
- Accountability systems
- Conflict mediation processes
- Decision-making
- Job descriptions and work distribution
- Bylaws preparation
- Market analysis
- Worker-owner rights and responsibilities
- Marketing plan, branding, online presence
Fees for the intensives vary and Worcester Roots staff work with co-ops to find grants or raise funds to cover the costs. Trainings can happen over the course of several weeks or be condensed into longer work sessions / weekends, etc.
