The 2023-24 session of our Co-op Academy has officially ended!
At the beginning of this month, we hosted the last session of our 2023-24 programming. Since then, we’ve been thinking and reflecting back on the work we did.
We are so grateful for every single one of our participants, from those who had been with us since registration, to those who joined on their own time and stuck with us to the end! Together, we spent 13 weeks expanding our knowledge and skills regarding worker co-ops. We were able to learn together, bond with one another, and create the beginnings of some beautiful co-ops-to-be!
Participants learned more about leadership, co-operative financial literacy, and what resources are out there for new and developed co-ops alike. We all deserve access to an economic and business structure that works best for us. Co-operatives are a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to invest in a more ethical, team-based business.
A series of thank-you’s are in order:
Thank you, The Village Worcester, for hosting us during these sessions and opening your space and community to us! We couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you to all of our wise hosts! We’ve learned so much from you over these past weeks. Thank you for passing on your knowledge of all things co-operation!
Another thank you to everyone who participated! We hope that this experience was as fruitful for you as it was for us.
Stay tuned for more updates.
