The Worcester Roots Worker Co-op Academy is a program dedicated to educating and mobilizing new co-operators towards building their own co-ops!
The details of the program are subject to change each year, which is what makes it so exciting! For example, our 2023-24 Co-op Academy was a 13 week program with weekly rotating learning outcomes! Together, we learned about a variety of topics, ranging from co-op financial literacy, to leadership and conflict management, to co-op business structures. At the end, eligible participants walked away with certificates, mentors, and even stipends to support their co-ops!
